Hi, I'm Estlin! I'm a writer living on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. My debut poetry collection In Your Nature is available now from Brick Books. You can read my musings about writing, life, and werewolves in my interview with Read Local BC, check out some recent book recommendations and more in this 12 or 20 Questions interview, or read a review of In Your Nature on The British Columbia Review. I write poetry, nonfiction, and stuff for kids and teens. Shapeshifters, my poetry chapbook, came out in 2018 with Rahila's Ghost Press. For many lucky years, my friend Leah Horlick and I ran REVERB, a queer reading series in Vancouver. My poem "Lupo Mannaro" was awarded the Gold winner in the Alberta Magazine Awards for Poetry in 2020. I'm a librarian and spend a lot of time around books, trees, and my very cranky old cat. |
