Hi, I'm Estlin! I'm a writer and magic-maker living on Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh land in Vancouver, where I earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. Shapeshifters, my poetry chapbook, came out in 2018 with Rahila's Ghost Press. For many lucky years, my friend Leah Horlick and I ran REVERB, a queer and anti-oppressive reading series. I write poetry, nonfiction, and stuff for kids and teens. My poem "Lupo Mannaro" was awarded the Gold winner in the Alberta Magazine Award for Poetry in 2020. I work with books and kids and live with cats. |
